Support Walezi of the Earth
Support Walezi of the Earth’s early community work, including outreach, surveys, program development, and the first stages of the Guardian branches.
Walezi of the Earth is a developing community initiative created to listen first, connect people to existing resources, and build practical support around real community needs.
Our mission unfolds through dedicated program areas under Walezi: survivor support and family safety through The Panda Guardian, youth strength through The Dragon Guardian, earth stewardship through The Turtle Guardian, working family stability through The Robin Guardian, and veterans and military family support through The Cardinal Guardian.
Walezi of the Earth is a developing community initiative and is not currently a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Contributions and purchases are not tax-deductible donations.
Direct Contributions via Cash App
For individuals who wish to support our founding development directly without middleman platform fees, we have established our official community account:
Contributions help cover local survey printing, park cleanup supplies (gloves, bags, tools), youth mentorship materials, and small emergency gap tests for families.
Founding Truth & Legal Transparency
1. Developing Grassroots Initiative: Walezi of the Earth was founded by Joanna Reyes out of lived experience standing in the gaps between systems. We are an independent, developing initiative in our formative stages—listening to our neighbors, conducting community surveys, and establishing our five Guardian branches through real-world service before expanding.
2. Not an Official 501(c)(3) Charity (.org Domain Notice): We are not currently a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We will not claim that status unless and until it is officially granted by the IRS. Our intended public web domain is walezioftheearth.org. Operating on a .org domain reflects our community-centered, civic, and educational mission orientation, but does not mean Walezi is an incorporated nonprofit.
3. Contributions & Purchases Are Not Tax-Deductible: Any financial contributions given or merchandise purchased at this stage are considered personal gifts of community support and cannot be written off as tax-deductible charitable donations unless future legal status changes. We believe in speaking the exact truth about our stage of growth.
4. Where Funds Go Right Now: Direct contributions via Cash App ($WalezioftheEarth) and purpose merchandise purchases help fund essential founding needs:
- Initial organizational filing fees and administrative startup costs.
- Printing physical survey flyers and distribution materials for neighborhood listening sessions.
- Purchasing cleanup tools (heavy-duty bags, grabbers, work gloves, safety gear) for Turtle Guardian cleanups.
- Conducting small, direct micro-gap relief tests (emergency formula, transit passes, essential household supplies).
5. Radical Open Accounting: We publish regular updates in our Vision Updates journal so our supporters can see exactly where funds go, what materials were purchased, and what milestones were reached.
