Branch 03 • Walezi of the Earth
Earth Stewardship • Habitat Restoration • Exploring Dignified Green Work
Restoring shared spaces with reverence. We organize grassroots volunteer cleanups, park care, and community gardens while actively researching and designing models for future dignified paid day shifts and environmental job training.
"Cleaner Spaces, Stronger Communities • Leave It Better • Small Actions Create Lasting Change"
Neglected spaces breed neglected spirits. When trash accumulates in vacant lots, parks become overgrown, and waterways gather debris, neighborhoods feel forgotten and unvalued.
The Turtle Guardian connects two vital community priorities: restoring our shared physical spaces and exploring pathways for future dignified, paid work. Rather than waiting on distant initiatives, we organize grassroots volunteer efforts while researching sustainable models to compensate local residents for stewarding their own neighborhoods.
"The turtle moves steadily, carrying its home on its back. Every empty can removed, every native shrub planted, and every community volunteer engaged strengthens the foundation."
Organizing volunteer weekend sweeps of streets, alleyways, and neglected corridors, transforming neglected parcels into clean, dignified community spaces.
Clearing plastic runoff, debris, and trash from local streams, shorelines, and watershed banks before pollution spreads downstream into our shared ecosystem.
Converting underutilized parcels into fertile raised beds that supply fresh herbs and vegetables to neighborhood families while teaching basic gardening skills.
Researching and designing future pilot programs for dignified paid day shifts and green vocational training for local residents in transition.
Funds raised during Walezi’s development stage support cleanup tools, disposal supplies, volunteer gear, community survey distribution, and green work framework research. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
Supplies safety gloves, grabbers, and heavy-duty disposal bags for 5 community cleanup volunteers.
Funds native plants, garden tools, and pollinator seedlings for a community garden revitalization.
Supports trash disposal fees, hauling supplies, safety vests, and equipment for targeted corridor sweeps.
